Subject Review

Hello

This is what I can conclude after finishing all 14 weeks of lecture of all the below subjects...

BEL 311

BEL 311 stands for English for Academic Purpose. At a first sight, I think that this subject must be hard for me because I cannot talk fluently in English and based on the opinion of my senior, this subject is annoying because of many assignment like term paper we have to do but after 14 weeks learn this subject, it more to how to write a good english essay. There are also a speaking practice, but less important than writing. This subject concern more to writing purposes. Our lecturer is Mr Izuan who are neat, handsome, tidy and quite strict in class. This subject is providing me with enough English language information and making me more confident to write or speak in English. By this, it will help me in the future where in a work environment, English is something important. About two weeks later, we will take our BEL 311 final examination and I hope that I can answer it smoothly and get an A+ for this subject

FAR 200

FAR 200 stands for financial accounting 3. Before this I thought that this subject is more harder than FAR150 but after finishing 14 weeks with this subject, although I have no accounting background, I still can survive this subject with a smiling. Our lecturer is Madam Rosmawati who are quite funny but she always gives us many homework. However we did not say anything because we know that her intention is to make we all are perfect students. As a accounting students, financial accounting subjects are compulsory as if we all became an accountant at the future but do not know how to do an account, it will be quite awkward. So, there are no doubt that this subject are related to our future career and I hope that I will get an A+ for this subject.

MAF 220

MAF 220 stands for cost accounting 1. This subject is easy as I thought at the first time being in this class because this subject are all about calculation and what makes it easy is because I do love calculation. Our lecturer for this subject is Madam Aryani who is a loving person, kind-hearted, soft-spoken and love all of us like her own sons. This subject is about how factory gives their empoyees wages, overtime and bonus. If in the future we all become a manager, we must have this kind of knowledge in order to perform our job perfectly. Another two weeks is our final examination, I hope that A+ will be the grade for me in this subject.

MGT162

MGT162 stands for Principle of Management. This subject is a reading subject. We must read all of the topics in order to answer any test or final because this subject has neither calculation nor formula at all. It will become hard for me as I'm not a kind of people who love reading informational books. Our lecturer is Madam Shaherah who is kind hearted, beautiful and quite strict in the class but she always share any new information withh us. This subject shows us how to manage a people and organizations and this will help us in case we have to manage employees under us in the future.

LAW 240

LAW 240 stands for Introduction to Commercial Law. This subject is a reading subject just like MGT162 but much more hard because this subject requires us to memorize all the case, section and story that are involve with commercial Law. Our lecturer is Madam Siti Mariam and she is a soft-spoken and kind person. She always gives us advice in how to succeed and passed this subject with flying colour. This subject shows us the law and regulations if we found someone make mistake about contract or something related to that. So if in the future we found a mistake, we will know how to encounter it.

CTU231

CTU231 stands for Fundamental of Islamic Accounting. This subject not so hard and for the first time , I take a Islamic subject but have a calculation. This subject shows us how to make a calculation for zakat, and how to pawned something according to Islamic ways. Our lecturer is Ustaz Kamarulzaman, who are hold many position whether in UiTM itself or outside UiTM. After learn this subject, we all know how Islam teach us the right way to do a business and we can use this knowledge when we finished our study later

HKR111

HKR111 stands for Management Of Family Institution. This subjects all about how to find our soul mate and how to manage our family after married according to Islamic concept. Ustazah Fatimah has become our lecturer. She is a kind, gentle, pretty and soft-spoken women who live in a happy family to become a good example to us about happy marriage. After we have study this subject for 14 weeks, we have learn that how to propose someone to become our wife, following the procedure of engagement and akad nikah to make them legally as our wife. All the knowledge I learn from this subject can be used after this to built a blissful and happy family with my future wife.

Puppy Love :)

Hello

Puppy love can be defined as feelings of love, romance, or infatuation felt by young people during their childhood and even adolescence. Everyone no matter who they are must have at least one memories of this puppy love. Tonight I think  I want to share to all the readers my memories of puppy love.

This happens about 5 years ago when I was in form 3. I have a feeling at one of my classmates who are quite popular among us. She was a sweet, soft-spoken, kind and pretty for sure. Many of my friends has tried to confess their feeling to this girl but she rejected by the reason of still studying in school. I have a feeling to this girl since Form 1 but I was a shy guy and choose to stay silent than being rejected and frustrated.

After being friend for about 3 years, I decided to express my feeling towards her no matter what happen. Ater finish PMR examination, I express my feeling and I've got a unexpected result which is she also had crush on me since form 1. So, we became a couple but this relationship doesn't stay long. After she moved to boarding school in form 4, we lost contact and this relationship ends just like that.

After SPM, I've meet my old friends and after being friends for about just a month, I express my feeling towards her and she accept it. This relationship stays until now for about 2 years and I hope that she is the perfect one that Allah have made for me until the day I die.

Kaabah

Hello

Yesterday when I was surfing the internet checking my Facebook account, suddenly my eyes catch a sight on a page that showing about Kaabah, which is the most holy place for all of us as a muslim and this is also the place where we perform our pilgrimage. So, I think I want to share something about Kaabah and I hope it will be useful to all the readers.

Kaabah is located in Masjidilharam and it was a large masonry structure in the shape of a cuboid, it is made of granite quarried from nearby hills. Standing upon a 25 cm (10 in) marble base that projects outwards about 35 cm (14 in), it is approximately 13.1 m (43 ft) high, with sides measuring 11.03 m (36.2 ft) by 12.86 m (42.2 ft). This is the size of Kaaba and it is covered by a black silk and gold curtain known as the kiswah, which is replaced annually during the Hajj Two-thirds of the way up is a band of gold embroidered Qur'anic text, including the Shahada, the Islamic declaration of faith.

Inside the Kaaba, the floor is made of marble and limestone. The interior walls are clad with marble halfway to the roof; The marble is inset with Qur'anic inscriptions. The wall directly adjacent to the entrance of the Kaaba has six tablets inlaid with inscriptions. The top part of the walls are covered with a green cloth embroidered with gold Qur'anic verses.

Kaaba is the place where we perform tawaf in order to complete our pilgrimage. Tawaf is the action which are requires us to walk around kaabah seven times. This act is a principle in Pillar of Islam which the first is pronounced syahadah, secondly perform shalah, thirdly fasting during Ramadhan, Fourthly perform zakat and lastly perform pilgrimage in Mekah for who has the ability. To perform pilgrimage in here is one of my dream and I wish I have enough time to stay alive and fulfill my dream.

7 Wonders of Ancient World

Hello

Today I want to story about 7 wonders in the ancient world. There are many interesting places in the world but this 7 places is the most amazing among the others.

1. Great Pyramid of Giza

The Great Pyramid of Giza (called the Pyramid of Khufu and the Pyramid of Cheops) is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids in theGiza Necropolis bordering what is now El Giza, Egypt. It is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the only one to remain largely intact. Egyptologists believe that the pyramid was built as a tomb for fourth dynasty Egyptian Pharaoh Khufu (Cheops in Greek) over an approximately 20 year period concluding around 2560 BC. Initially at 146.5 metres (480.6 ft), the Great Pyramid was the tallest man-made structure in the world for over 3,800 years. Originally, the Great Pyramid was covered by casing stones that formed a smooth outer surface; what is seen today is the underlying core structure. Some of the casing stones that once covered the structure can still be seen around the base. There have been varying scientific and alternative theories about the Great Pyramid's construction techniques. Most accepted construction hypotheses are based on the idea that it was built by moving huge stones from a quarry and dragging and lifting them into place.

2. Hanging Garden of Babylon

The Hanging Gardens of Babylon were considered to be one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the only one of the Wonders that may have been purely legendary. They were purportedly built in the ancient city-state of Babylon, near present-day Al Hillah, Babil province, in Iraq. The Hanging Gardens were not the only World Wonder in Babylon; the city walls and obelisk attributed to Queen Semiramis were also featured in ancient lists of Wonders.

3. Statue of Zeus at Olympia

The seated statue, some 12 meters (43 feet) tall, occupied half of the width of the aisle of the temple built to house it. "It seems that if Zeus were to stand up," the geographer Strabo noted early in the 1st century BC, "he would unroof the temple." The Zeus was a chryselephantine sculpture, made of ivory and gold-plated bronze. No copy in marble or bronze has survived, though there are recognizable but approximate versions on coins of nearby Elis and on Roman coins and engraved gems. A very detailed description of the sculpture and its throne was recorded by the traveler Pausanias, in the 2nd century AD. The sculpture was wreathed with shoots of olive worked in gold and seated on a magnificent throne of cedarwood, inlaid with ivory, gold, ebony, and precious stones - a most extravagant image of ancient furniture. In Zeus' right hand there was a small statue of crowned Nike, goddess of victory, also chryselephantine, and in his left hand, a sceptre inlaid with gold, on which an eagle perched.

4.Temple of Artemis

The Temple of Artemis, also known less precisely as the Temple of Diana, was a Greek temple dedicated to a goddess Greeks identified as Artemis and was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. It was situated at Ephesus (near the modern town of Selçuk in present-day Turkey), and was completely rebuilt three times before its eventual destruction in 401. Only foundations and sculptural fragments of the latest of the temples at the site remain.

5. Mausoleum at Halicarnassuss

The Mausoleum at Halicarnassus or Tomb of Mausolus was a tomb built between 353 and 350 BC at Halicarnassus (present Bodrum, Turkey) for Mausolus, a satrap in the Persian Empire, and Artemisia II of Caria, his wife and sister. Thestructure was designed by the Greek architects Satyros and Pythius of Priene. The Mausoleum stood approximately 45 m (148 ft) in height, and each of the four sides was adorned with sculptural reliefs created by each one of four Greek sculptors — Leochares, Bryaxis, Scopas of Paros and Timotheus. The finished structure was considered to be such an aesthetic triumph that Antipater of Sidon identified it as one of his Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

6. Colossus of Rhodes

The Colossus of Rhodes was a statue of the Greek Titan Helios, erected in the city of Rhodes on the Greek island of Rhodes by Chares of Lindosbetween 292 and 280 BC. It is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. It was constructed to celebrate Rhodes' victory over the ruler of Cyprus, Antigonus I Monophthalmus, who unsuccessfully besieged Rhodes in 305 BC. Before its destruction, the Colossus of Rhodes stood over 30 meters (107 ft) high, making it one of the tallest statues of the ancient world.

7. Lighthouse of Alexandria

The Lighthouse of Alexandria, also known as the Pharos of Alexandria, was a tower built between 280 and 247 BC on the island of Pharos at Alexandria, Egypt. Its purpose was to guide sailors into the harbour at night time. With a height variously estimated at somewhere in-between 393 and 450 ft (120 and 140 m), it was for many centuries among the tallest man made structures on Earth. It was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

My Roomates

Hello!

Today I would like to share to all of you about my roomates this semester.I live in Taming sari college and there are four in each room.So now I will pronounce to you all my roomates.

Firstly, his name is Muhammad Taufik and he was in the same room since I was in part one. He is a banking student and he is now in part four.He came from Mersing and riding motorcycle from there come to UiTM Segamat. He is a little bit talkative but he was a kind-hearted person. There are on ly one similarities between me and him which is we both are DoTA players. Normally if people seeing him for the first time, they will thinking that this person is annoying and arrogant but after knowing him for a while and having chit chat, he is a nice person. For your information, he is talented in basketball and plays represent his school several times. That one that I amazed of him.

My second roomates is a part two student of Diploma In Accountancy in UiTM Segamat. His name is Mukhtaruddin b Muryardi. He is clean, tidy and neat person. He is the one that always sweep floor in our room. That what I like about him. Every night, atleast two hours of his time is for studying because he want to get a good result for every semester and target for an ANC certificate at the graduation ceremony. He is also a funny guy and smiles a lot as he don't want to get depressed of the assignment everyday. So, i hope that he will achieve his short term goals which is get an ANC certificate and i hope that he will success in their life.

Wan Ahmad Muzamir is the name of my third roomates. He is taking Diploma in Business (Transport) and already in part two. He is quite childish because he never been away with his parents since he was born. This is the first time he live in a hostel far from his home in Kemaman, Terengganu. However, after making some friends and knowing more people, he is able to be independent. He is quite a funny guy but one things that mysterious is he rarely sleep in our room. Normally he went to his friend's room at the first floor to take a nap. In my opinion, I think maybe it because of the factor of his body. He is quite fat and easy to get exhausted after climb the stairs to our room in the third floor. So, decides to take a nap at his friend's room but there is no problem with me at all.

We all are rarely hang out together because we all are taking different courses and the class schedule is packed everyday. Nevertheless, our friendship is remain strong and i hope this silaturrahim is last forever.
